The
Island Gang
Legend of the Masks
After several
days in the San Juan Islands, Gary finds a wooden mask floating
on the water in Fossil Bay. Mysterious powers of the mask take
Gary into scenes from the past, eventually leading The Island
Gang to the Gulf Islands of British Columbia. They learn that
the mask was made by Tsauri, a talented carver and village
medicine man. In the village of YanYan, The Island Gang is
unexpectedly thrown back into a fight against the Underground.
Mr. Grisham crosses paths with Meg, a younger lady at a major
crossroads following a failed marriage. His interactions with
her are life changing.
The author has used storylines from music (largely country) to
illustrate scenes that play out along the way.
